Microfibre mops and cleaning pads make cleaning less toxic and infinitely easier! Tiny fibres that are no more than the width of a human hair grab onto dirt, making cleaning your floors that much easier.
The mops flat surface and easy to remove microfibre pads are perfect for mopping floors. The pad can be removed from the mop handle, rinsed with warm water and replaced on the handle to continue the job.
A microfibre mop pad can be wrung out well, so that mopping is done with a damp mop, not a soaking wet one dripping water all over the floor.
Floors dry faster because there is less water left on them. The same mop can be used to dust floors. Microfibre makes for a revolution in mop technology. They can be washed in the washing machine but MUST BE KEPT AWAY FROM FABRIC SOFTENER. Fabric softener clogs the fibres and will ruin the cloth. Our micro fibre mop system is 80% solid metal alloy allowing it to be sturdy yet light in weight. Likely, it will be the last mop you will ever have to purchase. The mop head, unlike many other systems on the market, can also be locked in place. This handy feature prevents “flipping” which can potentially cause damage to hard wood flooring.
Here are a couple of handy tips:
- Keep one mophead for dry use, and one for wet use. This way, you won’t have to wash them between dry and wet uses, which saves you a bit on your water and energy bills.
- When washing your mophead, just like our microfibre cleaning cloths, don’t use any fabric softener. Fabric softener isn’t really needed. Plus, it has a nasty tendency to ruin the fibres. Another easy option is to simply use a scrub brush in the sink to eliminate the dirt and soil in the mop pad and then hang to dry.
